Integrated Project Blog Activities 2º Term

The principal goal achieved was the creation of a mockup implemented with the diferents accesories and systems that will be use, as well the creation of a solar panel made of copper and water with salt to charge a battery and the creation of a voltimeter and amperimeter to measure he voltage and the amperage. We are very satisfied with the results because the mockup it is as we want it have all the characteristics and measures appropriate. It does have the necessary space to implement and control every motor and light or everything action. All the activities of the project were implemented since do a galvanometer to do a printed circuit in a phenolic plate were done by the implementation of the skills learned in the career. To be done this project needs the complete program made in C  to control the system, create all the circuit and install the others motor and the accessories that will implemented in the mockup.

Component/Activity
Description
Cost Item
Battery Paper
We use the battery paper to made the walls of the mockup
$270
Glue
Use glue to assemble the parts of wood in the mockup
$100
Cutter
We use the cutter to cut the battery paper
$0
Screws
We use screws to assemble the battery paper in the wood
$6
Wood
Its the principal component because its like the girders of the mockup
$150
Drill Bit
This tool was very efficient to tighten the screws and drill the wood
$20
LED's
Use the leds to iluminate the mockup
$25
Motor
Its the principal component in the system because the motor moves different accessories
$0
Resistors
Use the resistors in the circuits
$10
Parallel Port Cable
This is the principal component in the circuit and the communication between the computer and the system.
$0
Parallel Port Male Connector
This connector use in the circuit to communicate the circuit and connect the cable
$30
20 Pin DIP Socket
Use this socket in the circuit to avoid than the integrated circuit burns
$45
Phenolic Plate
The circuit will be implemented in this
$20
Clay
Use this material to fill and mold all the parts of the mockup
$63
Ferric Chloride
Use this compound to engraved the ink in the phenolic plate to make the circuit
$30
Couche Paper
Use this paper to print lines and rails of the circuit
$5
Terminals
Use the terminals to connect different accessories in the printed circuit
$40
9V Battery
Give the necessary energy to the circuit to turn on the system
$50
Sheet Copper
We use this in the solar panel, the copper gives the necessary energy form the sun
$45
Sodium Chloride
Use this compound in the solar panel, this make a little reaction to make energy
$3
Wire Caliber 22
Use this wire to pass the energy for all the mockup
$64
Polyethylene
Use the polyethylene  to make a prototype and use as a little table below the mockup
$60

The millennium development goals

What they are

At the millennium summit in september the largest gathering of world leaders in history adopted the un millennium declaration, commiting their nations to a new global pathership to reduce extreme provety and setting out a series of time-bound targest, with a deadline or 2015, that have become know as the millennium development goals.

The millennium development goals (MDGS) are the world´s time-bound and quantified tagest for addressing extreme poverty in is many dimensions incume poverty, hunger, disease, lack of adequate shelter, and exclusion while promoting gender equality education and enviromental sustainability. They are also basic human rigths- the rights of each person on the planet to health, education, shelter and security.

      ·         Goal 1: Eradicate extreme hunger and povety.
      ·         Goal 2: Achieve universal primary education.
      ·         Goal 3: Promete Gender equality an empower women.
      ·         Goal 4: Reduce Child Mortality.
      ·         Goal 5: Improve Maternal Health
      ·         Goal 6: Combat HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other diseases.
      ·         Goal 7: Ensure environmental Sustainability.
      ·         Goal 8: Develop a global parthership for development.
